Ghosts Are Freakin’ Real
April 20th, 2008If you’ve ever watched Ghost Hunters on Sci-Fi, then you know that most of the episodes are fairly anti-climactic. They involve a lot of fancy production with sound effects and creepy shots and stuff but a lot of times, nothing really happens. Every once in a while though, they’ll catch something that’s pretty freaky and of course, those make the best episodes. The following video is the best piece of evidence they’ve ever gotten…and honestly, I’m terrified. If you have a chance to catch this episode, I highly recommend watching it whether you believe in this stuff or not.
As a bit of background, what they do is they’ll turn on a digital audio recorder and then sit and ask questions. The theory is that the recorder will catch sounds that might not be audible to the human ear. The guys ask a few questions in this clip and, at the time, they hear nothing. What was caught on the recorder blew my mind. Pants-pissing video after the break.

love the show, best by far though (assuming it was real) was the Eastern State Penitentiary. there was a camera set up down one of the walkways in front of the cells and some kind of black shadow ran up towards the camera and then backed off and ran away……….

Yeah I saw that one too. This video doesn’t do justice to the actual EVP that was recorded. Seriously, watch this episode!

the problem is that they don’t really allow third parties to analyze their findings. And there is always the motive to fake stuff for purposes of TV

Yeah, there’s always a reason to fake stuff. But I’ve got to give them the benefit of the doubt considering this is their fourth season and up until now they’ve never had anything near this cool. If they were going to fake shit for ratings, I think they would have done it from the start to attract the widest audience possible.
