As Dyna mentioned in a recent post, we love Apple products. Tomorrow is the big keynote at this year’s Macworld conference so you can expect us to be glued to our computer monitors at 12pm EST reading text updates of what’s going on. The sad part about this year’s keynote is that Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO and all-around genius, is not presenting it like he normally does. He’s the guy that helped introduce the iPod, iPhone, and just about every other awesome piece of gear that starts with a lower-case ‘i’, so having someone else present the keynote is like having stand-in parents hand you your gifts on Christmas morning. We here at Average Dudes are Apple geeks.  It is permanently ingrained into our heads that Steve Jobs is god and we worship him.  Our love goes to me and fellow average dude, Scott, sitting inside a Panera Bread squatting on wifi just so we could read blog updates on macworld, and being totally gitty about it.  That said, here’s a nice 3 min beginning to current showcase of everything that is Apple.  If you could care less about Apple, you can still watch because it has a very awesome Fiona Apple cover on it.  Enjoy

The wildfires in San Diego have been a tragic thing these past couple of months. Many people have been forced to evacuate and in much more severe cases have lost their homes. Steve Boyack, a resident of Poway, California, felt so compelled over this matter that he wrote a letter……to Steve Jobs. (more…)
