Feel Like a Nerd AND Smell Like Mountain Dew

Tuesday, December 8th, 2009

Just in case soaping yourself with NES controllers wasn’t enough to satiate your nerd hunger, these bars of soap are also Mountain Dew scented. They were $34 for 4 bars but it appears as though they’ve sold out.

Ghostwire Will Make Kids Around the World Crap Themselves

Wednesday, October 28th, 2009

One of the nifty things about the Nintendo DSi (hand-held video game console) is that it has a built-in camera. It has two cameras, in fact; one that faces the user and one that faces away. I haven’t paid much attention to it because I already have a DS Lite and I hate it when companies make their own products obsolete after a year (not you, Apple..please keep releasing new stuff). Anyways, this is the first instance of “holy crap that’s brilliant” I’ve experienced in reading about this thing. (more…)

I think I heard something about a video game involving cheerleading. It’s really tough to be sure though…

The Ultimate NES Collection for Sale

Tuesday, August 12th, 2008

This is quite impressive. It’s a picture from an ebay auction. This collection contains EVERY NES game released plus a couple of games that never hit circulation.

This has me a little jealous and wanting to hook up my Nintendo and play a little California Games. Nothing beats playing the roller skating game and watching that bitch trip over an ice cream cone and face plant.

So if you are feeling a little cheeky, the entire collection only costs $3800. Click Here

Review – Wii Fit

Thursday, June 19th, 2008

The Nintendo Wii has been one of the biggest successes in video game history. I have no statistical data with which to back that statement, but take my word for it. Damn near everyone I know owns a Wii, including my mom. Even now, a year and a half after its launch, you’re lucky if you find one available to buy without checking eBay.

Nintendo has repeated this success with Wii Fit, a new game/peripheral bundle that gets you up off the couch and into various yoga poses, strength training exercises, and balance games. Wii Fit is pretty much as hard to find as the Wii itself, so obviously there’s a ton of hype surrounding it. Can this thing possibly live up to such expectations? Let me tell you, it absolutely does. Review – Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Wednesday, March 12th, 2008

Smash Bros. Brawl TitleAnyone who owned a Nintendo 64 or a Nintendo Gamecube has probably heard of Super Smash Bros. It’s a series of fighting games that pits a bunch of famous Nintendo characters against each other in fierce battles to the death. For a Nintendo fan, there’s nothing cooler than playing as Mario and being able to beat the crap out of Princess Peach.

Nintendo recently released the third game in the series called Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Despite a few shortcomings, I completely recommend this game for any Nintendo fan who owns a Wii. (more…)

Review – Super Mario Galaxy: You Want It

Monday, November 26th, 2007

MarioGalaxyLogoA lot of people give Nintendo a bad rap for sticking to formulas. As far as I’m concerned, when you’ve created some of the most memorable and beloved video game characters ever, I’d say you’re allowed to do whatever the hell you want.
