Bacon beats Fries in a Landslide

Thursday, November 6th, 2008

Was this even a fair matchup.  Bacon beats Fries any day of the week.  We all know the only thing that could have even stood a chance against Bacon is our good friend Powdered Sugar.

Before You Vote, Make Sure You’re Educated

Tuesday, November 4th, 2008

Today is the day when peer pressure is at its worst. Everyone is screaming from the hilltops, “GO VOTE IMMEDIATELY! DO IT NOW!” but most people don’t realize the danger in that. If people don’t understand what they’re voting for, they really shouldn’t vote. If you do decide to go out and fight the crowds today, make sure you visit OnTheIssues.org first. You can see quotes from all of the cadidates that show their views on all of the major issues like tax reform, abortion, civil rights, etc. Find the issues that are important to you, see which candidate best reflects your beliefs, and make your decision that way. Don’t just vote for someone because your parents or your best friend told you to.

Election Day ‘08

Monday, November 3rd, 2008

Well we promised each other that we wouldn’t fully endorse one candidate or another on this site, but one thing I will say. Get out and vote! Now is your time to express your views. We all know about this big Presidential election but there are also many important local elections. Now is your time to pick your mayor, congressman, senator, or decide on an amendment. For all the complaining you may have done over the past 4 years, now is your time to have your voice heard. I know you hear it every year, my vote doesn’t matter. Keep in mind the 2000 Presidential Election was decided by 537 votes in the state of Florida. Many polls open up on Tuesday morning at 7am and will close at 7pm for most and 8pm for some, so if you still don’t know who to vote for or what they stand for take the time today to get educated and have your voice heard.

Ok, I’m done with that. I now leave you with a video of a cat getting stuck inside a box. Enjoy, I did.

Where are Politics Heading?

Tuesday, January 8th, 2008

Chuck Norris, Mike HuckabeeAs I keep an eye on the emerging election of 2008, I can’t help but notice the shenanigans that all these candidates are pulling out. All the Democrats are preaching about “change”, which is nice but that word is getting a little tired. The republicans are as divided as ever with an evangelical preacher, Huckabee, parading Chuck Norris around like a prop and Romney preaching about twenty-year-old rhetoric by Ronald Regan. The worst part is that Fred Thompson is actually trying to become our president after starring in such films as Feds, Die Hard: 2, Curly Sue, and Baby’s Day Out. God help us…..wait, isn’t that Hilary’s new campaign slogan?
