I know in the world of dudes the Harry Potter series is a big hit or miss.  I will have to plead guilty to liking all the movies, though I have yet to read any of the books (hopefully that gives me some dignity).  With that said, the new Harry Potter movie looks pretty bad ass.  This is movie really seems to grasp a very dark and disturbing vibe that the series has been going towards.  I also have high hopes that Harry will finally tag Hermione….and for those that did read the books, please don’t spoil my hopes.

What do you get when you team up Ben Stiller, Jack Black, and Robert Downey Jr. playing a black man?  Possibly  the funniest movie of the summer.

A trailer for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was released today. As Harrison Ford so strongly illustrates, 65 is the new 30. The trailer shows off all the action and comedy we’ve come to expect from the series…consider me excited. I just hope Cate Blanchett isn’t near as annoying as Kate Capshaw was in Temple of Doom. He should have let her burn…

I was just shown the trailer for Will Smith’s upcoming movie, Hancock. This is already my favorite movie of this year and it could very well rank among my favorite ever just based on the few minutes I’ve seen. Now that I’ve built it up immensely, go watch the trailer.

We here at Average-Dudes are giant fans of Bruce Campbell. I at least have high hopes for this film even though it looks incredibly corny. Come on, it’s Bruce Campbell playing Bruce Campbell. It can’t get any better than that.

A trailer for the fourth season of ABC’s hit show Lost has made its way onto YouTube. Just make sure you’re wearing a bib before you watch it. It’d be a shame to get drool all over your nice work shirt.

If there’s one movie to watch out for in the coming months, it has to be Cloverfield. Produced by J.J. Abrams (producer of the Lost tv extravaganza), this movie’s got a lot of hype surrounding it. Of course, that’s dangerous for any film because rarely can anything exceed these kinds of expectations. Check out the trailer on Apple’s website and keep an eye out for it. It’s expected to drop on January 18th.
