iStock Photo is Quite Morbid

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008

During my daily work travels, I needed to head on over to good ole iStockPhotos.com.  I was surprised to see this image waiting for me.  This is hands down one of the most creative and morbid 503 error pages I’ve ever come across.  I’m not sure what type of sick twisted humor they have over there but I like it.  Good work iStock people.  I’ll continue to purchase your resonably priced photos.

The Chicks are Back!

Thursday, June 19th, 2008

You didn’t forget about our sister site did you? I kind of did…

But the chicks are back! Brandy spent about a month in Thailand and made it home in one piece. You can read about her adventures here. Katie got swept up in school stuff, but now that finals are over, she’s back in the swing of things too! Make sure you tell your girlfriends to go check out the site and comment and stuff. It’ll make us all better people. Seriously.

Hot Chicks with No Eyebrows

Tuesday, June 3rd, 2008

Ever wondered what your number 1 crush would look like if some ass hole pranked her and shaved her eyebrows? Neither have I.

In spite of the fact that no one really wants to see it, there’s a blog devoted specifically to digitally removing the eyebrows from some of the prettiest ladies around (and some not-so-pretty ones too). You’d be surprised how much Natalie Portman resembles a Klingon without eyebrows.

Subway Crush - An Outlet for Wimps

Monday, April 14th, 2008

At first I got excited because I thought this was about Subway the food chain serving pressed sandwiches. Boy was I disappointed.

Subway Crush is a website that revolves around a simple concept: you commute on a train/subway, you see a girl who tickles your fancy but you don’t have the cajones to say anything to her, you log on to Subway Crush and release your innermost thoughts for everyone to see….except the girl from the train, of course. She’s never heard of Subway Crush and she has a boyfriend.

Wild Messages: Awesome Time Killer

Friday, April 4th, 2008

Here’s something to do with those long hours spent at your desk: Wild Messages from Buffalo Wild Wings. Yeah, it’s just promotion for their “Wing Tuesdays” special, but it’s got a couple of pretty girls, a stupid looking French dude, and an alien. How can you go wrong with that combination? You enter your first name and your friend’s first name, pick your character, and you get a silly message that you can send out. It’s not quite Monk-E-Mail but it’s still relatively fun.

Chickipedia - Stalker’s Delight

Monday, February 25th, 2008

Marisa Miller 6You’ve heard of Wikipedia, right? It’s the online encyclopedia that is open for anyone to edit, creating a vast collection of articles on such varied subjects as a UFO memorial in Sweden and Fucking, Austria (yes, it’s actually a town in Austria).

Meet Chickipedia. It’s kind of the same deal, except you get to find out everything you’d possibly want to know about your favorite women. It’s got chicks from every profession including sports, fashion, politics, and music. If you’ve ever been curious what Angelina Jolie’s measurements are, here’s your chance to find out. Or if your nights just seem a little too lonely, there’s even a “Random Chick” button that brings up…well… a random chick. It’s kind of like speed-dating, only really really creepy.

Average Chicks - It’s Not Just for Dudes Anymore

Thursday, February 21st, 2008

Chicks LogoIf you’re our friend on MySpace, you may have seen a bulletin referring to our new sister site. If you’re not our friend on MySpace, what the hell is wrong with you?

That’s right, folks. We’ve launched a new site, only this time it’s focused on the ladies. Now your girlfriend doesn’t have to sit and jealously watch you while you bust a gut laughing at our awesome content. She has a place of her own to go find out about the latest trends, gossip, and weird news that only chicks understand.

I’d like to personally thank our friends Brandy (Mind of the Beav) and Katie for stepping up to the plate to provide some awesomeness in a way that only a female can handle.

KnickerPicker - Valentine’s Day Gifts Made Easy

Wednesday, February 6th, 2008

KnickerPicker

It’s almost Valentine’s day. Before you run screaming for the hills, you should check out this site. KnickerPicker.com lets you play dress up with a real (and quite hot) model to see what kind of under garments might suit your lady’s fancy. It’s got a number of different styles ranging from corsets to thongs. They also provide some buying tips for clueless dudes, like how to find out your girl’s bra size without getting your ass kicked.

It’s a great way to get ideas for a V-Day gift. At least that’s the excuse you can use if your girlfriend catches you drooling over this chick in different undies.

One more pic after the jump…you know, for gift ideas… (more…)

International Delete Your MySpace Account Day

Wednesday, January 30th, 2008

Myspace SucksWednesday was named International Delete Your Myspace Account Day. It is a little late to promote, but I don’t think many will mind if we carry this on for one more day.

This day was instigated by blogger Simon Owens. The banishment was made known on his Jan. 20th post, 10 reasons to ditch the News Corp.-owned site. He cites reasons of the on going spam, banner ads, and glitches that have many users fed up and he says the way to get back is by deleting your home page. (more…)
