We all know that beer pong is one of those games that every average dude should know. It requires skill, concentration, and an unusually large stomach. If you’re anything like us at a UCF tailgate, then you’ve probably played the game to the point that it has become mundane…a lot like your relationship with your girlfriend (it’s ok, it’s just us dudes here). Enter Buzz Shot, a simple yet effective way to spice up your beer pong-ing-ing….ing. (more…)

I searched high and low for the best possible TV I could get for the lowest possible price. I’ve already got a 32″ so it had to be bigger than that, and my parents recently picked up a 52″ and I decided that was too big. I settled on the 46″ Samsung 500 series because it was a smaller version of what my parents got and I liked theirs a lot. Luckily, I haven’t been disappointed. (more…)

I’m going to keep this one short and sweet. Not because I’m lazy, but because I feel like I’ve pretty much already reviewed this game. That’s probably because Call of Duty: World at War is essentialy the same game as Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, just with World War 2 stuff painted all over it. To get an idea of the graphics, sound, and controls, please refer to my review of CoD4. If you’re already familiar with the series, read on. (more…)

I’ve only read really good reviews about the Pixar movie, Wall-E. The local paper where I live gave it 5 stars and my fellow average dude said, “it’s really really good”, a review that will surely make it on the DVD cover. Now you can’t beat that right. Well it is a children’s movie so what do all the kids seeing it think. PIxar is known for throwing in many jokes meant for the parent that often get overlooked by the core audience, the children.
The fellas over at CollegeHumor.com got the 411 on just what the kids thought of this new Pixar flick:

The Nintendo Wii has been one of the biggest successes in video game history. I have no statistical data with which to back that statement, but take my word for it. Damn near everyone I know owns a Wii, including my mom. Even now, a year and a half after its launch, you’re lucky if you find one available to buy without checking eBay.
Nintendo has repeated this success with Wii Fit, a new game/peripheral bundle that gets you up off the couch and into various yoga poses, strength training exercises, and balance games. Wii Fit is pretty much as hard to find as the Wii itself, so obviously there’s a ton of hype surrounding it. Can this thing possibly live up to such expectations? Let me tell you, it absolutely does. Anyone who owned a Nintendo 64 or a Nintendo Gamecube has probably heard of Super Smash Bros. It’s a series of fighting games that pits a bunch of famous Nintendo characters against each other in fierce battles to the death. For a Nintendo fan, there’s nothing cooler than playing as Mario and being able to beat the crap out of Princess Peach.
Nintendo recently released the third game in the series called Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Despite a few shortcomings, I completely recommend this game for any Nintendo fan who owns a Wii. (more…)

I’ve spent the past two days with my ass glued to my couch rockin’ out with the likes of Pat Benetar, Metallica, and Poison. While it sounds like a stoner’s daydream, I’ve actually been playing Guitar Hero 3 on my XBox 360. After beating the game on its Medium difficulty and suffering a wicked hand cramp as a result, I feel like I’ve experienced enough to recommend it to anyone with a video game console and a desire to have fun. Every once in a while, a product comes along that makes us all smack our foreheads and say, “Why didn’t I think of that?!” That’s exactly what came to my mind when I saw the N-Ice Rack. It’s a simply brilliant concept and a product that will come in handy at quite a few parties. (more…)

I’m the kind of guy that loves the idea of starting a new, epic game, especially when said game gets really high reviews all around. Unfortunately, I’m also the kind of guy that quickly gets caught up in other things (namely, life), forgets what I had been doing in said game, and then quits playing it due to frustration at having no idea what’s going on. Call of Duty 4 was different, for better or worse. It’s a white-knuckle action shooter that’s pretty short overall, but it’s definitely worth the cost of admission. (more…)
