A Teddy Bear with a Deep Manly Inside

Friday, February 6th, 2009

So to speak…

Let the women think you’re sensitive, little do they know you’re well prepared for any situation.  This same bear could easily get McGeyver through a nuclear war.

The History of Apple

Thursday, December 18th, 2008

We here at Average Dudes are Apple geeks.  It is permanently ingrained into our heads that Steve Jobs is god and we worship him.  Our love goes to me and fellow average dude, Scott, sitting inside a Panera Bread squatting on wifi just so we could read blog updates on macworld, and being totally gitty about it.  That said, here’s a nice 3 min beginning to current showcase of everything that is Apple.  If you could care less about Apple, you can still watch because it has a very awesome Fiona Apple cover on it.  Enjoy

The Tiddy Bear….Commence Giggling

Tuesday, August 19th, 2008

I’m not sure what’s worse, this product, this product’s name, this product’s name associated with children, or the fact I giggled like a little school girl every time they said Tiddy Bear. Hehe.

Every Boy/Man Loves a Fort

Sunday, July 13th, 2008

So I know I wasn’t the only one that built a fort out of pillows growing up. I think it is the rite of passage for any young man.  So while strolling through the internet today I came across this company that sells a modern day version that brings the level of design to a whole new level. The company is called Crazy Forts.  Now I know this isn’t exactly the same thing as pillows and sheets but If you were to use enough of these things you could probably build a fort big enough to live in and move out of the parent house at age 4 or 24 for you pathetic guys still at home, just a thought.

150in. Panasonic Plasma TV Makes Me Drool

Wednesday, January 9th, 2008

Panasonic TV

Panasonic have outdone themselves again at this year’s CES by releasing this mammoth TV. The scary thing is that it’s 50% bigger than the 103 inch model they released last year. I’m not really sure why it’s necessary or how it would even fit through a door, but I want one. I think you would cause some minor brown-outs when you turned it on for the first time.

Just imagine what football would be like on that sucker…or the Food Network. Something about a 150 inch closeup of a freshly-baked pie gets me excited.

I can’t wait for next year’s model.

Pong A Long: Portable, Affordable Beer Pong Tables

Wednesday, December 12th, 2007

Drinking Game2Drinking games are a dude’s best friend. There are so many, you’ll never run out before you pass out. Just look at Steve’s article and you can see how creative people can get. With so many varieties though, it can get tedious or even frustrating to try and come up with one that everyone at a party wants to play. That’s when you go to the old stand-by: Beer Pong. (more…)
