When was the last time someone thought David Blaine was cool or actually did something extraordinary. I’ll admit I was ‘wow’-ed by him when he first came on to the scene but that was back when I was in high school and sadly that was quite awhile ago. See…back then, he did actual magic, not these big master illusions that everyone knows are fake because there is no way a human could survive being encased in a block of ice or being trapped in a box for 44 days with no food and water or being suspended upside down for 60 straight hours, the latter being his newest stunt. Why do I say this? Because a New York blogger got a photo of him being turned over and when she asked another on-looker they said he gets turned over every 25min. The only thing that is amazing about his stunts is anyone actually giving a shit anymore. I’d say his biggest accomplishment was screwing Madonna.
The spoiled stunt photo after the jump! (more…)

We post alot of photos of hot chicks on this site and it occured to me that is a little sexist. We are totally neglecting our miniscule percentage of female readers. So today I give you the former World Sexiest Man………….

Well I can finally say I look like Matt Damon….

After 14 years of marriage, Shania Twain and her husband Robert “Mutt” Lange have separated. Careful, though. You should probably give her at least a couple of days before you start trying to call her up for a date. Out of respect, you know.
I’m surprised that ugly bastard hung onto her for so long. And they call him “Mutt.” Let this be a lesson to you: don’t take for granted the good things you have.

I was never really sure about Hilary Duff. Not only do all of her albums’ and movies’ completely suck the life out of me but to top it off she was never really that good looking. She always had that little girl baby fat thing going on and that is just morally and sometimes legally wrong. However, today I strolled across a photo of her that made me do a double take. I didn’t even realize it was her at first and I will have to say at the ripe old age of 20 she has come into her prime. I’m sure it will all be down hill from there on out.
There is no other real substance to this post other than me “officially” declaring her hot.

Marriages seem to be more of a convenience thing rather than a “lifetime commitment” thing nowadays. Carmen Electra is engaged to be married for the third time. This year’s lucky fellow is Korn’s on-again-off-again touring guitarist, Rob Patterson.
True love takes time, my friends. Time, money, multiple marriages, divorces, adopted kids, real kids, and more money. But when you find it, you just….know.

Funny man and actor, Eddie Izzard has been a personal favorite of mine for years now. His Dress to Kill stand up makes me laugh to this day. It is nice to see him start to receive some commercial success with an upcoming movie with Tom Cruise and a popular show on FX.
After a recent interview with Newsweek he stated that he sees himself getting into European politics at some point.
“We’ve got to make it work in Europe,” the cross-dressing comedian, 46, told the magazine for its issue hitting newsstands Monday. “People are very worried about sovereignty and the loss of sovereignty. I think the stakes are if we don’t make the European Union work, then the world is screwed. End of story.”
I think the world could use a man like him in politics; blunt with a sense of humor and always with a good complexion. I know what you all are thinking; “Transvestite! Are you serious?” Yes, and I leave you with this quote after the jump. (more…)

One of the biggest film actors of all time, Charlton Heston, has died at the age of 84. I’ll always remember him as the dude in the old Earthquake ride at Universal in Orlando. Give me a break…I’m young.

Yesterday I jumped on a tall tale of woe involving Patrick Swayze having only 5 weeks left to live due to some kind of mutated pancreatic cancer. Luckily for my integrity, I ended with the notion that the original source was the National Enquirer and perhaps they had somehow blown things out of proportion like they tend to do on a daily basis.
Well thanks to Steve and Katie for pointing this out:
“Patrick has a very limited amount of disease and he appears to be responding well to treatment thus far. All of the reports stating the timeframe of his prognosis and his physical side effects are absolutely untrue. We are considerably more optimistic.”
So yes, the National Enquirer is still the equivalent of an attention-starved high school girl who will start rumors just to have her name passed around by everyone.

Patrick Swayze, eternally known as Jennifer Grey’s partner in Dirty Dancing, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in January. Doctors have said that the cancer has spread to other parts of his body and they don’t think that anything can be done. He has been given 5 weeks to live.
Let this be a lesson. Don’t mess around with this kind of stuff. If you think something is wrong, go get it looked at immediately. This is very sad news and I’m sure we’ll all be hearing a lot about it in the coming weeks.
In all seriousness though, the original source of the story is the National Enquirer, so let’s all hope that it’s a hoax or something.

Brandy at Average-Chicks came across this site where people photoshop celebrity faces onto pictures of….ordinary people. There’s some seriously scary stuff on there. Check it out.
