January 21st is Squirrel Appreciation Day

Wednesday, January 21st, 2009

I’ve got a soft spot in my heart for squirrels. I know, they’re just rats with bushy tails, but those tails make all the difference. Someone decided that January 21st is Squirrel Appreciation Day. Who am I to say no? So today, take a look out your window and enjoy the little bastards chasing each other around. Just don’t feed them. They get crazy when they’re fed.

And if you want more ridiculously cute squirrel pictures, check out Sugar Bush Squirrel’s official website. It’s the worst site ever and I’m sure the woman who runs it is some insane animal collector, but the pictures are pretty damn cute.

A Gallery of Megacats

Sunday, November 30th, 2008

One of Dyna’s favorite things on this Earth is megacats. They’re cats so fat that they nearly defy the laws of physics. The best part about most of them is that they look like they have a normal-sized head and legs, just a giant ham of a body. It’s completely unhealthy and in many ways I feel sorry for these animals. Still, they’re pretty freakin’ cute.

Anyways, here are some photos of these glorious animals. (more…)
