I was never really sure about Hilary Duff. Not only do all of her albums’ and movies’ completely suck the life out of me but to top it off she was never really that good looking. She always had that little girl baby fat thing going on and that is just morally and sometimes legally wrong. However, today I strolled across a photo of her that made me do a double take. I didn’t even realize it was her at first and I will have to say at the ripe old age of 20 she has come into her prime. I’m sure it will all be down hill from there on out.
There is no other real substance to this post other than me “officially” declaring her hot.

With all those “real life” renderings of popular animated characters roaming around, it seems only natural that others would begin jumping on the bandwagon.
Enter real Bowser. The popular villain from Nintendo’s universe is normally kind of cute in an “I’m gonna getchoo” sort of way. This rendition of Bowser, however, is absolutely frightening. The difference here is that he’s not comprised of pieces from many different photos like Homer, Mario, and Jessica Rabbit. Some dude actually painted this whole thing in Photoshop. Cool…I guess…

A journalism grad student was arrested near Cairo, Egypt after photographing a labor rally. He was not specifically told the grounds for his arrest but they said something about him inciting a riot. Luckily for him, he used his cellphone to post a message to his Twitter account that simply said, “Arrested.” His friends in the States contacted the American Embassy who sent a lawyer to get the dude out of prison.
So here’s what you need to do. Sign up for an account and then follow Average Dudes on Twitter. That way, if me or Dyna ever ends up in an Egyptian prison, we’ve got a way out. Sound good?

FHM has once again compiled their annual list of the 100 sexiest women. Number 1 this year is Megan Fox from Transformers, with last year’s winner, Jessica Alba, dropping to 3rd due to unfortunate circumstances (gettin’ knocked up).
I’ve got four problems with this list. First off, it’s supposedly the 100 sexiest women of the world. Can they really be the authority on this subject? I’ve got to believe there are some pretty sexy women hiding in the far reaches of the globe. Second, does it really need to be 100 women? Does anyone care who ranked 43rd? The only thing people care about is who ranked first through fifth and who came in dead last. Third problem, number 98 is actually 2 girls. Fail.
My fourth problem is that Britney Spears is number 100. How in the holy hell did she manage to make it onto this list? Oh wait…so that bloggers like me would talk about FHM and their list. Cunning marketing tactic….touché, FHM.

Just in case you haven’t been paying attention, the almighty Lost returns with an all-new episode tonight. All-new…why do they use that term? As if they’ll stick a few scenes in it from a previous episode so that it’s only “sorta-new”? Mostly-new?
Anyways, an entirely-totally-all-new episode of Lost is on tonight at 10/9 central on ABC. This is absolutely the greatest show in the history of television, and if you disagree then you suck.
Pay attention to it. I’ll expect a full report tomorrow morning. If you don’t watch it, you’ll upset Kate. You don’t want to upset Kate, do you?

Marriages seem to be more of a convenience thing rather than a “lifetime commitment” thing nowadays. Carmen Electra is engaged to be married for the third time. This year’s lucky fellow is Korn’s on-again-off-again touring guitarist, Rob Patterson.
True love takes time, my friends. Time, money, multiple marriages, divorces, adopted kids, real kids, and more money. But when you find it, you just….know.

You love the site, right? How much? Would you be willing to become a walking Average Dudes billboard? We’ve got some t-shirts on sale to help you show off your ultimate dudedom. Well, right now there’s only one shirt (apparently the other one I made was a little too vulgar…) but there will be more merchandise on the way!
Show your support, dude! Head over to our Zazzle store and pick up your own NADWDWHAGFSTV (National Association of Dudes Who Don’t Want to Hear About Gross Feminine Stuff on TV) shirt! You remember the NADWDWHAGFSTV*, right?
You can even get the shirt in a number of different styles and colors, including women and children styles…so you can buy like 15 of them! Score! Here’s what the back looks like.

*Note: The astute reader will notice that the association was formerly the NGDWDWHAGFSTV, or “National GROUP…” I just like the ring of Association better. And it says NAD now…
